One more TINY little thing...

You can now download Zach's songs on iTunes.  Just search for Zach Balch and four of his songs, professionally recorded, are available.

You will be impressed, I was.

Christmas at the Farm

So we went to the farm, it was great because my mom's family came from Abilene and met us there.  Such a stress-free, relaxing way to get together.  Did I mention that we love the farm?

Hannah and Caleb

Tuck and Caleb
Zach and Ashleigh
Breanne and her boyfriend, Patrick... the reason he is green is not because of my camera, it's because he was truly, truly, ill.  Sorry Patrick!

More introductions... poor Frank has had to live out the farm porch introduction scene twice now, once with my dad's family and now with my mom's.
Taylor and Frank arrive... awwww.
Me practicing my new camera skills on the unsuspecting Hillary.  But she's still gorgeous.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning

Zach and Ashleigh opening presents at  my mom's house.
Caleb's reaction to his present....

Three tickets to the Cotton Bowl January 2nd.
Hannah staring at the presents that Santa left at our house.

Such a sleepy face!  It was only 7 am.

Trip To Lubbock 12/21-12/24

Our Christmas was truly fabulous.  I'll have to document in several posts, as the number of pictures and details would be entirely too cumbersome for one post.  You'd get bored and you'd leave.. and what good is that?

The kids and I trekked to Lubbock on Sunday 12/21.  We anxiously awaited Rodney's arrival the next day, so that the fun could really begin.  The pictures are posted exactly backwards of  how they happened, but for the life of me I cannot fix it. I'll do better next time.  Sorry.

Christmas gift exchange at Grandma's... Caleb gets a Michael Crabtree jersey and Hannah gets a Tech cheerleader outfit.

Hannah, Zaey and Zoey playing dress up.  They were so rambunctious, it was hilarious!

Visit with Nana at her house.
A stop at the Red Raider Outfitter yielded unusual results.  Caleb struck up a conversation with a stranger, who turned out to be assistant coach of the Tech men's basketball team.. and he gave us tickets to that night's game.  Go Caleb!

The guy in between the guy in the redshirt and the black vested Pat Knight is the one who gave us the tickets.  He and Pat Knight were both shopping in the store.

We elected to take Rance and Lexi to the game.  It was great fun.
We took the morning to visit the Tech campus where Rodney and I used to roam.  The kids loved it.

We went out to Levelland to visit Rodney's precious great-grandmother.  She is 95 years old and lives in the nursing home.  We love visiting her because she truly exemplifies the way we should all live our lives.  She is selfless, patient, kind, and so very warm.  We are lucky to have her.
